IRS help from someone who can speak for you

An envelope from the IRS can ruin an afternoon, but most tax problems are more fixable than they feel. We figure out what the IRS or your state agency actually wants, what your options are, and how to resolve it.

Problems we help resolve

  • IRS and state tax notices
  • Unfiled and prior-year returns
  • Amended returns and filing corrections
  • Penalty relief requests
  • Installment agreements and payment plans
  • Tax balances and collection activity
  • Audits and examinations
  • Offers in Compromise and other options, when they fit
  • Business and payroll tax problems
  • Representation before the IRS

Someone in your corner with the IRS

As a CPA and Enrolled Agent, Jayson Snipes is authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Once you sign a power of attorney, we can speak with the IRS for you, gather what they've asked for, respond on your behalf, and work toward fixing the underlying problem.

For a lot of people, simply not having to make those phone calls themselves is an enormous relief.

How a resolution case usually unfolds

  1. Understand what happened

We start by reviewing the notice and pulling your IRS transcripts, which show what has been filed, paid, and assessed. That tells us what's really going on, which isn't always what the letter suggests.

  2. Lay out the options

Once we know where things stand, we'll explain the realistic paths forward and give you our honest read on each one. We won't promise an outcome we can't deliver.

  3. Do the work

That might mean filing missing returns, responding to an audit, requesting penalty relief, or setting up a payment arrangement. We'll keep you updated as it moves along.

Why sooner is better

Penalties and interest keep growing while a notice sits unopened, and deadlines don't pause for a confusing letter. The sooner we see it, the more options you'll usually have.
