Secure client portal
Everything between us, in one safe place
Upload and download documents, fill out questionnaires, sign forms, send secure messages, and pay invoices through our secure client portal. Please use the portal for sensitive information rather than email.
Get the app. Search for “TaxDome Client Portal” in the App Store or Google Play. Its built-in scanner turns a photo of any paper form into a clean PDF, so you can send us a W-2 the day it arrives.
First time logging in?
Don't have an account yet? Create one in a few minutes.Received an invitation from us? Open the email and select Activate Account. If you can't find it, check your spam or promotions folder.
Create a password and sign in. Your home screen shows anything that needs your attention.
Use Documents to upload files to us or download anything we've shared with you.
Use Organizers when we've sent you a tax questionnaire to fill out.
Use Invoices to view and pay your bill.
Make a tax payment
Payments go straight to the IRS or the NC Department of Revenue. Each card links to the official site and shows exactly which options to choose.
Estimated tax payments

Federal estimated tax payment
Quarterly payments toward this year's federal tax, applied to Form 1040-ES.
Show me step by step
- Go to the IRS payments page and choose to pay personal taxes.
- Sign in to your IRS Online Account, or use Direct Pay to pay from a bank account without signing in.
- Choose Estimated Tax as the reason for your payment.
- Apply the payment to Form 1040-ES and select the correct tax year.
- Enter the amount and your bank information.
- Review everything carefully, then submit.
- Save or print your confirmation number.
Married filing jointly? When using IRS Direct Pay, enter the information for the spouse whose name appears first on your return.

North Carolina estimated tax payment
Quarterly payments toward this year's state tax, applied as an NC-40 payment.

- Go to the NCDOR File & Pay for Individuals page.
- Select Pay Estimated Individual Income Tax.
- Enter the requested taxpayer information.
- Make sure the payment is applied as an NC-40 estimated payment for the correct tax year.
- Enter the amount and your payment information.
- Review everything carefully, then submit.
- Save or print your confirmation.

Paying a balance due

Paying what you owe with your federal individual return, Form 1040.

Paying a notice, an amended return, an extension, or another kind of tax? The payment type you choose may be different. Follow the instructions that came with your return or notice, or call us if you're not sure which option to pick.
Where's my refund?
Both agencies have tools that show exactly where your refund is. You'll need your Social Security number, filing status, and the exact refund amount from your return.

We're happy to set up a time, whether it's your annual tax appointment or a conversation about something new. Our hours change with the seasons, so check the current schedule before you stop by.
Online booking is for current clients outside tax season. During tax season, book through your client portal.
