Snipes Accounting and Tax Service began as Ann H. Snipes Accounting & Tax Service in the early 1960s by Ann, who focused on individual tax preparation and small corporate bookkeeping and filing. Ann built a practice of hundreds of clients and looked forward to seeing them every year. She continued to see her clients and work until her death in March 2023 at the age of 91.

In 2017, Jayson Snipes (Ann’s grandson), joined the practice and began a second career in accounting. Jayson continues to serve our clients. He is expanding our technological capabilities as well as developing more corporate, estate, and business clients. In 2023, Jayson began the Master of Accounting program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Our practice was built on personal service and many of our clients cherished their relationship with Ann through the years. Jayson looks forward to continuing her legacy!
