Snipes Accounting and Tax Service began as C&S Income Tax Service in 1961 by Ann Snipes and family friend, Charles Craver, eventually becoming Ann H. Snipes Accounting and Tax Service by the late 1906s. Ann focused on individual tax preparation and small corporate bookkeeping and filing, and built a practice of hundreds of clients and looked forward to seeing them every year. She continued to see her clients and work until her death in March 2023 at the age of 91.

In 2017, Jayson Snipes (Ann’s grandson), joined the practice, beginning a second career in accounting and earned his Master of Accounting from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Jayson continues to serve our clients while expanding our technological capabilities and obtaining more corporate, estate, and business clients.

Our practice was built on personal service and many of our clients cherished their relationship with Ann through the years. Jayson looks forward to continuing her legacy!
