Mid-Year Updates and Services

No new tax law, yet.

Can you believe we are already half way through 2025? Time is flying by!

Current tax law expires at the end of 2025. As of now, there has not been any new tax legislation passed. As soon as I receive some news on tax changes and when they take effect, I’ll pass the info along to you.

Be careful of what you read online! There are plenty of rumors circulating about what will happen, especially if congress does not pass tax law before end of year. If no new legislation is passed, the rules simply revert back to pre-2017. For the vast majority of clients, this would be a very nominal difference to what you currently pay in tax. It will not result in a large tax increase for the vast majority of taxpayers.

Office Information

Calling the Office in the Off Season
If you call the office in the off-season and do not get an answer, please leave a voicemail! For those of you who were long time clients of my grandmother, her office and home phones were the same number. That isn’t the case now, so if I’m not where I can hear the phone or out of the office, I’ll call you back! No message = no return call.

Office Closure
The office will be closed July 1–6. Calls received this week will be returned next week!

Office Drop Box
If you need to drop off information without an appointment or when I am not there, there is a secure drop box next to the front door. It is marked “Not for USPS” and goes into a locked box on the inside that only I can access. Please make sure your information is in an envelope with your contact information included!

Have a great July 4 holiday, and I look forward to seeing you again soon!
